SRA Board of Directors Candidacy
This year the SRA Board seeks to fill five (5) open positions on the Board of Directors.
Qualifications are:
- Must have been an owner and resident of the Semiahmoo Community for six months and one day on or before membership on the Board becomes effective.
- Must confirm one’s commitment and ability to satisfy Board member duties and requirements including the signing of the SRA Board Member Code of Conduct.
- Must have all dues and financial obligations to the SRA paid in full and current.
- Must commit to attending at least nine (9) of the monthly SRA Board meetings per year in person or by remote attendance. The Board may appoint a replacement for members who fail to do so.
- Must be prepared to attend Board orientation.
- Must be willing to serve on or chair one of the sub-committees of the Board and be prepared to work on issues extending beyond the SRA such as liaison with the City of Blaine.

Member Proposed Resolutions
The Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) of the SRA allow for members to submit proposals for amendments to be voted on by membership.
Member proposed resolutions are subject to the forty percent (40%) quorum requirement stated in Section 4.11, such amendment must be approved by Owners holding at least two-thirds (2/3) of the votes cast. (12.01)
