No. The Environmental Committee monitors issues and makes recommendations to the SRA Board, who votes on new rules and policies.

The Environmental Committee works to protect and preserve the environmental health of the community by recommending new policies and educating community members on methods they can use to better protect their environment.

Meeting Minutes

The Environmental Committee meets every other month. Meeting notices are announced in advance on the SRA website and community members are welcome to attend the meetings. Written Minutes of these meetings are published and posted on the website.

I am interested in becoming a member of the Environmental Committee. How do I join?

Reach out to SRA staff or the Environmental Committee Chair and let them know you are interested. A staff member will get you an application. If there is an open position and mutual interest, you will be nominated for membership and appointed by a vote of the Board.
